Dark Veil Society proudly announces the release of Puddle People, a razor-sharp dark comedy that blends unsettling suspense with wicked humor.
Puddle People introduces readers to Walter Minsk—a brilliant, embittered inventor whose grand vision of global peace has curdled into obsession. When the world refuses to recognize his genius, Walter decides education is in order. His lessons are cold. Ice-water cold.
As experiments misfire and residents of Sterling, Northern Ireland begin to vanish, Chief Bill Reilly is drawn into a twisted game of cat and mouse. What follows is a tense, darkly comic chase where intellect, obsession, and morality collide—and the outcome is anything but certain.
Balancing psychological horror with biting satire, Bradley crafts a story that is both unsettling and sharply entertaining, asking how far one man will go to force a better world—and who pays the price when ideals turn lethal.
Early praise for Puddle People:
“Simply put, Puddle People is unlike anything that I have read before.”
